Major Manufacturers

HomeSphere, a leader in construction technology with the only digital marketplace connecting major building product manufacturers and homebuilders, completed its seventh consecutive year of double-digit growth in 2018 and has set the stage for an even stronger 2019.

The 2019 outlook is strong, with recently released upgrades to its cloud-based technology platform. The applications built on this platform are attracting major building manufacturers and local home builders to HomeSphere’s rapidly growing community.

"2018 was transformative for our company," said HomeSphere CEO Glenn Renner. "We made significant additions to our team, and we delivered new products and technology that advance both our company and the industry."

Last year, more than 700 local builders joined the HomeSphere community, growing HomeSphere’s total customer base to over 2,500 builders. Collectively, these builders constructed and tracked over 250,000 closed homes through HomeSphere’s platform, representing over 20% of total new homes built in the United States.

Building product manufacturers who have recently joined HomeSphere to develop relationships with innovative home builders in HomeSphere’s community include:

  • AZEK Building Products, American-made premium, low-maintenance exterior building products including AZEK Trim, Deck, Rail, Moulding, Porch and Pavers as well as capped wood composite decking and railing under the TimberTech brand.
  • Dal-Tile Corporation, the largest ceramic tile manufacturer in the United States and one of the world’s largest tile manufacturers of ceramics, mosaics, porcelain, quarry tile and a variety of stone products under the Daltile, American Olean, and Marazzi USA brands.
  • Panasonic Eco Solutions, the premier manufacturer of powerful, energy-efficient ventilation fans and indoor air quality solutions. Panasonic’s code compliant solutions provide high performance, low cost options that help create healthy home environments and include the Inteli-Balance and WhisperFresh product lines.
  • Siemens Corporation, a global powerhouse focusing on the areas of electrification, automation and digitalization. Siemens is a leading manufacturer of safety, electrical and alternate power solutions – products that save labor costs through ease of installation while being best in class for reliability.

“It is no surprise that major manufacturers are recognizing the value of our platform,” said Renner. “When you know more about where your products are installed, who installed them, and where there is opportunity to repair or replace them over time – it opens up new revenue streams and creates new efficiencies.”

HomeSphere’s technology platform now serves the entire builder channel in a data-driven marketplace that is optimized to meet the needs of both builders and manufacturers. In mid-2018 HomeSphere rolled out HomeSphere-IQ™, which delivers industry-changing data on homebuilders, their local markets and the products used in the homes they build.

“Our two award-winning applications – My HomeSphere and HomeSphere-IQ – create an easy-to-use experience tailored to the user -- a first for the building products industry,” said HomeSphere CMO and Head of Product Timothy Bates. “Just as online shopping marketplaces have restructured the retail process targeting the right products to the right buyer, the HomeSphere marketplace also creates a direct connection between buyers and sellers with data and information.”
