2023 Energy Efficiency Standards Update with Lennox
The Department of Energy has updated the minimum energy efficiency requirements for HVAC.
Beginning January 1, 2023, these requirements will take effect for all newly manufactured residential air conditioners and heat pumps. There will also be separate efficiency standards and installation requirements for central air conditioners sold in the northern and southern parts of the United States.
