HomeSphere, provider of digital lead-generation and customer loyalty solutions to the residential construction industry, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the upcoming “Healthy Housing Challenge,” in connection with Rebuilding Together Metro Denver (RTMD), one of nearly 200 Rebuilding Together affiliates which repair and rebuild 10,000 homes per year for low-income residents.
HomeSphere is a longtime contributor to Rebuilding Together Metro Denver. This is its first sponsorship of the organization’s annual rebuild-a-thon, which was one of nine community revitalization programs chosen for the National Center for Healthy Housing’s annual challenge.
On Saturday, Sept. 21, RTMD, its rebuilding partners and more than 300 volunteers will improve 22 homes in Denver’s Cole neighborhood. RTMD has found that many of the area’s homes present health and safety hazards to their older and lower-income residents.
The National Center for Healthy Housing estimates that approximately 30 million homes pose potential health threats that contribute to preventable injuries and illnesses. Healthy Housing Challenge volunteers will focus on hazards that can be corrected through simple, low-cost repairs, such as fixing leaking roofs and gutters, removing old carpeting, clearing clogged clothes dryer vents, adding ventilation, installing grab bars and handrails, and sealing gaps and cracks to keep out pests.
“HomeSphere has supported RTMD’s critical work since 2005,” said HomeSphere President and COO Glenn Renner. “We are so proud to work together on this newest campaign, which improves the health and safety of the neighborhood and brings real hope to the homeowners.”
HomeSphere develops and manages the homebuilding industry’s first and only B2B digital lead generation service, called the “Building Universe,” connecting more than 70 preferred building product manufacturer brands and 10,000 local and regional homebuilders.
