Welcome to HomeSphere’s New Blog Community
August 8, 2019
Notice anything different about our blog? If the large blue “Join the Conversation” box is any indicator, we’re trying to add a few more voices around here. That’s why we’ve officially launched an online community that gives you the ability to comment, start conversations with other users and add friends.
We want our blog community to be a place where you can read interesting articles, share your own thoughts and swap tips with other people in the residential construction and building products industry.
So let’s give you a quick rundown of what you’ll find when you join our community.
After you’ve signed up, you’ll have access to your profile page, where you can stay up-to-date on blog activity. From this page, you can view your recent activity, notifications, mentions (when someone tags you in their own comment) and friend requests. You can also post status updates, and change your profile information and photo.
Know anyone who’s already joined or take part in a great conversation on a blog post? Add them as a friend! Simply click on the user’s profile, then click “Add Friend.” You’ll be able to stay up-to-date on their activity and easily message them back and forth.
Once you’re a blog member, you’ll be able to leave comments on any post you want. Start the conversation, respond to other users or give us your two cents on our posts and share any tips you’d add for other users.
And speaking of commenting on our blog posts (because segues are always fun), we’ve started organizing them in a new way. Each post will be found under one of these five categories:
Business Blueprints: Think of them as cheat sheets for your business. We’ll discuss tips from marketing and sales to daily operations based on the expertise of our 20 years in the residential construction industry.
Tracking Trends: Go here for new reports (like our Builder Intelligence Report results or The Z Report) and news on what’s trending in the industry.
Our Brands: Stay up-to-date on our manufacturing partners, their new products that are eligible for rebates and tips on how to maximize your builder incentives.
Building Partnerships: Check these posts for profiles of our fantastic builder and manufacturer partners.
The bottom line is that we hope you join, because it’s your voice that will help this community grow and get even better.
