GE GeoSpring Named to Top 10 List

GE Appliances’ new products, as part of its billion-dollar investment through 2014, continue to gain positive recognition. Last month, BuildingGreen named GE’s GeoSpringTM hybrid electric water heater to its Top-10 list of green building products for 2013.

GE began production of GeoSpring in February and will save an average consumer $325 every year on utility bills. GeoSpring is an ENERGY STAR®-qualified water heater that was selected for its energy savings and its innovative tehcnology.

BuildingGreen’s Top-10 list was selected by BuildingGreen, Inc. publishers of GreenSpec and Environmental Building News (EBN). The GreenSpec online directory lists more than 2,200 environmentally preferable products, with key insights on the green attributes of each product and the most critical green issues for each product category. All research on products is completed independently, with a heavy emphasis on remaining unbiased and providing the consumer quality information.

Generac Standby Generators Joins HomeSphere

(Lakewood, Colorado – December 3, 2012) — Generac Power Systems and HomeSphere, Inc. announced today they have entered into a joint agreement to offer Generac’s automatic home standby generators to HomeSphere’s network of builders using HomeSphere’s technology-driven solutions.

Generac, based in Waukesha, Wis., joins more than 75 manufacturing brands currently using HomeSphere’s BRI lead generation and marketing program to produce new builder leads and strengthen existing business, thus growing their market share through increased homebuilder sales.
