(Lakewood, Colo. – July 25, 2006) HomeSphere, a technology-leveraged
service provider to residential homebuilders, has announced the
promotion of J.L. “Whitey” Reed to Vice President of
Sales – West Region.
In this role, Reed will be responsible for managing and supporting
the sales efforts of HomeSphere’s Western Regions. He brings
30-plus years of experience in sales and marketing in the new residential
construction industry to this newly created position.
As HomeSphere continues on its path of rapid revenue growth, this
position will help to ensure the company is supporting its Regional
Sales Managers. His market knowledge and proven ability to develop
and execute revenue growth plans will assist HomeSphere in developing
an even larger presence in the West.
Reed’s efforts will largely support HomeSphere’s BRI
partners, manufacturers and homebuilders who participate in the
BRI program, which provides homebuilders an easy way to earn cash
incentives on many of the products they install on each residential
construction project.
Reed joined HomeSphere as the Regional Sales Manager - Southwest
in 2005 and has rapidly grown his regions revenue and partner relationships.
Prior to joining HomeSphere, he was the branch president for Comfort
Systems USA’s Salt Lake City, Utah branch. Prior to joining
Comfort Systems, he sold cabinets and lumber directly to homebuilders
and worked at Summit Plumbing & Heating with duties ranging
from service manager to sales manager. Reed began his new residential
career as an installing dealer for HVAC equipment in the Akron,
Ohio area.
Reed and his family reside in the Salt Lake City area.
