Second Senior Executive in Thirty Days to Join HomeSphere's
Management Team Will Implement and Manage Aggressive Marketing and
Sales Strategies
Golden, CO-May 19, 2004- HomeSphere, the leading provider
of e-commerce, collaboration, bid management, software, and buyer
incentive programs for the homebuilding industry, today announced
it has appointed Glenn M. Renner as Senior Vice President of Sales
and Marketing. This appointment closely follows last month's appointment
by HomeSphere of a new Senior Vice President and CFO, Andy Murray.
Both appointments are elements of HomeSphere's aggressive growth
campaign, fueled by record internal growth in multiple company sectors,
and a recent $1 million private placement of venture capital.
Mr. Renner joins HomeSphere from the global paint and coatings
industry leader Sherwin-Williams (NYSE:SHW) where he served
as Vice President -Architectural Marketing from their Cleveland,
Ohio offices. Renner has seventeen (17) years experience at Sherwin-Williams
serving in a wide variety of sales and marketing management positions.
As Vice President, Renner was responsible for the creation and implementation
of products and marketing programs to drive the growth of Sherwin-Williams'
multi-billion dollar architectural product line sold nationally
through over 2,500 stores. Renner has a long history of active participation
in key events sponsored by trade associations such as the Painting
and Decorating Contractors of America, the Construction Specification
Institute (CSI), the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the
National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) and the Manufactured
Housing Institute (MHI).
